Here is a short 10 minute video on the hand built bicycle. Rather well done with bikes from Vanilla, ANT, Sachs, and Jones.

Enjoy,

EROICA 2010

Yes it sounds like Erotica and I think of that Madonna song, but this is actually different.

It is a bike fair and ride dedicated to cycling of old. The video is a bit long, but interesting.
It also has some great views of Tuscany, and makes me continue to think of going to Italy. One day….

Steve Jobs: How to live before you die

I was looking through TED talks and ran across this.  I loved the quote in the middle (hopefully I copied it correctly):

Look in the mirror everyday and ask myself:
“If today was the last day of my life would I want to dowhat I am about to do?”
If the answer is no for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
- Steve Jobs

Another on at the end caught my attention:

Stay hungry, Stay foolish – Steve Jobs

Good stuff.

Napoleon Dynamite: What kind of bike do you have?
Pedro: It’s a sledgehammer.
Napoleon Dynamite: Dang! You got shocks, pegs… lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?
Napoleon Dynamite: [Cut to Pedro jumping] You got like three feet of air that time.

WOW. this is huge.
Napoleon would be proud.

I rode Storey Burn Trail on Sunday and it was great.  I love riding in Tillamook State forest.  Smooth and loamy singletrack. mmmmmmm.

Here is the link to the Trail Map.  I parked at Brown’s Camp and rode it the wrong way I think because it was all up hill.  Ah well, I will ride the other way next time.

Here are some pics and 10 sec vid of me going slow…

Click on the pics to goto my picasa page and see more. These are the best ones though.

From my previous post [Bed intruder Song] I linked to a final cover by Vektor. They did a final cover of the Double Rainbow song and knocked it out of the park. Wow.

Have Fun,

Jeremy

This internet meme just gets better and better.  First we had the news report that was awesome, next a auto-tune version, and finally an acoustic redition has come out.  I love it.

Well played Internet, well played.

Bicycle Rush Hour in Copenhagen

This video reminds me of this quote:

Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race. – H. G. Wells

I see a little of this in Portland on my commute in daily, but would love to see more.  They (TheGovernment) are slowly working towards something like this I believe.  It will take a while for the process to roll out.

Thanks to CycleHawk for the link
